{"id":346,"date":"2024-04-24T01:44:00","date_gmt":"2024-04-24T01:44:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/andydawkins.com\/?p=346"},"modified":"2024-03-09T10:08:43","modified_gmt":"2024-03-09T10:08:43","slug":"things-get-worse-third-daily-dose-of-brand-new-artist","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/andydawkins.com\/?p=346","title":{"rendered":"Things Get Worse  [third daily dose of Brand New Artist]"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I go home totally despondent, little knowing how things were going to get even worse.&nbsp; The next morning I get to my office and Jim the lobbyist is waiting for me:&nbsp; \u201cSay,\u201d he says, \u201cwe got Wally Sparby [another legislator] willing to move to reconsider the vote on the consumer loan bill; is there anything we can do to get your support?\u201d&nbsp; [Because Rep.
